The Ideal Home Bedroom Awards celebrate all things sleep, from the most stylish bed linen to practical bedroom storage furniture and everything in between.
This year, the Bedroom Awards were judged by our panel of four in-house experts: Ideal Home’s Editor-in-Chief, Heather Young, Deputy Editor Ginevra Benedetti, Sleep Editor Amy Lockwood, and our resident Air Quality Expert, Lauren Bradbury.
There were plenty of brand new product launches alongside tried-and-trusted favourites that caught our judges’ attention, but these are the winners of this year’s Ideal Home Bedroom Awards.
Bedroom Retailer of the Year: DUSK
First and foremost, the winner of our prestigious Best Bedroom Retailer of the Year award is online-only homeware retailer, DUSK.
‘We know how much our readers love DUSK, with its huge product range covering everything from beds and bedding to cushions, lighting, and accessories,’ says Ideal Home’s Editor-in-Chief, Heather Young.
‘The brand’s mission to make affordable homeware accessible to everyone is backed up with a strong focus on customer service to make finding the perfect piece for your bedroom a positive experience.’

Best Bedroom Storage: Sharps Shaker Bedroom in Soft Linen
Storage furniture is a must in any well-organised bedroom, and our judges voted the Sharps Shaker Bedroom in Soft Linen as the winner of this category.

Best Hybrid Mattress: Furniture Village Sleepeezee Hybrid Pro 2300
The winner of our hybrid mattress category is the Furniture Village Sleepeezee Hybrid Pro 2300.
‘I’m always impressed by Sleepeezee’s mattresses, and the Hybrid Pro 2300 is no exception,’ says Amy.
‘Handcrafted in England, it features a mix of pocket springs and memory foam, with an additional built-in pillow top to provide extra cushioning. That’s some seriously comfortable layers.’

Finding the best pillow for your preferred sleeping position can transform your sleep, and when it comes to a truly luxurious sleeping experience, the scooms Hungarian Goose Down Pillow was the hands-down winner.

If you have allergies, then an air purifier can be a useful tool for improving your bedroom’s air quality, and this year, the judges voted the Dyson HushJet as our Best Bedroom Air Quality winner.
‘Stylish, compact, but still suitable for larger rooms, the Dyson HushJet offers a sleek way to improve your air quality at home,’ explains Ideal Home’s Air Quality expert Lauren Bradbury.

Best Bed: DUSK Wiltshire Ottoman Bed
No bedroom is complete without a bed, and the best bed category saw another win for DUSK, with the judges crowning the DUSK Wiltshire Ottoman Bed the winner, thanks to its stylish good looks and great value for money.
‘Featuring an elegantly-shaped headboard, oodles of hidden storage, and available in a choice of three colourways and sizes, you’d expect this beauty to cost a lot more than it does,’ says Ideal Home’s Deputy Editor, Ginevra Benedetti. ‘If you’re looking for luxe for less, this is the bed to buy.’

Best Bedroom Flooring: Cormar Carpets Silken Serenity Bedroom Flooring
This year, our judges chose the Cormar Carpets Silken Serenity Bedroom Flooring to win our bedroom flooring award.

The winner of our sleep tech award is the Philips Hue Twilight Sleep and Wake-Up Light.

Best Bedroom Furniture: Furniture Village Tiber Dressing Table with Mirror
Bedroom furniture needs to combine practicality *and* style, and in our judges’ opinion, the Furniture Village Tiber Dressing Table with Mirror does that perfectly.
‘How chic is this dressing table?’ says Heather, ‘with a sleek travertine ceramic surface, two handy drawers, and an elegant circular tilting mirror, this is the perfect statement piece for a bedroom.’

The winner of our Kids Bed award is the ROOMIX Transition Toddler Bed.
‘Kids can grow out of clothes so quickly, so you certainly don’t want the same thing happening to an expensive piece of furniture, too,’ says Ginevra. ‘That’s why clever pieces that grow with them are such a good investment. And when it came to crowning the best duvet, it was another win for scooms and the scooms Hungarian Goose Down Duvet.
‘scooms Hungarian Goose Down Duvet is one of the best quality feather and down duvets we’ve tested,’ says Amy. ‘Light, airy, and super squishy, it’s truly like snuggly up in a cloud. The brand’s feather and down is also ethically sourced – very important in this type of bedding – and its duvets are made in small batches using renewable energy.’

Best Mattress Topper: Slumberdown Memory Foam Gel Mattress Topper
The winner of our Mattress Topper award is the Slumberdown Memory Foam Gel Mattress Topper.
‘If you’re looking for an extra layer of cushioning to soften up a firm mattress, then Slumberdown’s memory foam topper does the trick,’ says Amy, ‘and at under £100 for a double, it also won’t break the bank.’
Best in Sustainability: Panda London collection
When it comes to efforts made towards more sustainable manufacture, it was Panda London that impressed our judging team.
‘From bedding and pillows to mattresses and toppers, Panda London makes its entire range from bamboo, which is a brilliantly sustainable material. It’s also naturally hypoallergenic and is grown without the use of chemicals, too,’ says Ginevra.
Best Bedroom Lighting: Furniture Village Delaney Urn Table Lamp
Our judges chose the Furniture Village Delaney Urn Table Lamp as the winner of our Bedroom Lighting award.
‘I’m constantly impressed by the lighting range at Furniture Village,’ says Heather, ‘and this statement lamp is a perfect example of its style credentials with luxe-look woodgrain finish and neutral linen lampshade.’
Best Memory Foam Mattress: Nectar Sleep Premier Mattress
If you prefer your mattress without springs, the Nectar Sleep Premier Mattress is the winner of our memory foam mattress award two years running.

Bedroom colour can make or break your bedroom design, and our judges awarded Earthborn’s ‘Splashing’ Claypaint the award for best bedroom paint overall.
